California!

We had a blast in CA last week... nice 60 degree weather (a little chilly, but so nice after our HOT few weeks in AZ)... fun at the San Diego Zoo, Disneyland, and lots of beach time.

Here's a few pics from the tide pools we found and from the zoo. Ryan loved the sand crabs.  He was fascinated in them... watching them crawl around with the shells on their backs.  Parker collected several in a bucket filled with sand and water that we had to bring back to the hotel and were supposed to bring home to AZ.  Luckily, we could not find a jar, so they now have relocated to a beautiful blue bucket at the Newport Beach Timeshares.  

The zoo was incredible!  It has been years since I have been to the San Diego Zoo.  I now know why it is so amazing.  The cages are so great to see the animals, and the weather was perfect.  The animals were so active.  The boys LOVED every minute.  It is "WAY BETTER THAN OUR ZOO IN ARIZONA".  They don't have 10 tired turtles on a tuttle tuttle tree, though...
